my coach is being so stupid.. like today we were kinda seat racing, and she was mad at me for some reason, so she took me out of varsity and put me in jv for the last couple race pieces (and i wouldnt be mad if she was doing it to help the boat, but she was just trying to be a bitch). so i won the seat races, jv beat varsity.. and christy was mad.. like she was actually mad that i won like people think that im really good or something.. and shes always trying to show them that im not that great... and im not that great.. but i dont know.. its kinda stupid but whatever... ha i just feel like she is always trying to humiliate me.. its pretty dumb. Anyone relate?

so there are pretty much 4 really good varsity rowers on my team, and the rest are just average. Jacqueline, me, Steph D, and Sinead are like the only real varsity rowers at newport. We have really good light weights, but they are light weights! i feel like this year is not going to be good. my coach puts novice and people who arent dedicated into the boat, and its just getting worse and worse. i feel like theres nothing i can do, and i hate that. cause not matter how hard i work, that doesnt mean that we will have a good boat, 4 people cant row an 8 to victory.. its just so stupid!

ok, so at the NAC the varsity has been practicing with the JV. this year alot of the JV boats have a bunch of novice in them. its like 60% returning rowers, 40% novice.. and thats way too much for my liking! These novice have the biggest egos i've ever seen, they think they are the shit, my coach always tells them that they are so good, and that the JV this year is going to do so well. When i was a novice i had to work my ass off to even get on JV, and i had the best erg score on the whole team! These girls can hardly even row and they get, what seems like, automaticly bumped up.. its bull shit... But its not fair to the varsity when we have to practice with them. Obviously the varsity is alot stronger and better trained that the JV is... so what's really hard for them, isnt that hard for us, so when we have to practice with them, we have to either sit around and wait for them to finish, or we dont get that good of a workout Sure we might have a good JV this year because they are training with us, but who the fuck cares? the varsity is the most important, so its just ridiculous! Plus with the novice people on JV they dont have ANY respect for the varsity, i might be old fashioned, but i think that the rowers that arnt on varsity should have a certain level of respect for us. But these girls, they think that they are just as good as us, and they've only been rowing for like 3 months or something. Like today we were in mixed boats cause we were going to race against each other. 2 varsity was in each boat to make is fair, and the rest were basically novice. So we are doing 2k sprints and my boat is really shitty, there is alot of rush, and the set was awful. but anyway, these girls were just complaining the whole time about the workout was so hard and that they didnt want to row in a boat that didnt feel very good i just felt like saying "if you dont want to be here, then fucking leave!" but of course i didnt because im supposed to be a 'good roll model' for the new rowers. it was just so bad, the boat was bad because the people in it were bad, if they knew how to row, then it wouldnt be a horrible boat.... anyway more shitty crew stuff, Next year i will make it different, i will get everyone that is going to be on the 'top boats' and get them all together and tell them all straight out that if you just want to piss around, and row for pure fun then they should go and practice with the people who suck, but if they want to be on JV or varsity, then they will have to prove themselves. they will need to show up everyday and row as hard as they can. and if i hear any one of them complaining i will have them de-boated. (i have some influence with the line-ups, so it wont just be a threat.) It will be as simple as that. I will not row for a team that is just going to half ass everything and be average.. thats not good enough for me. And i will piss alot of people off until i get it that way. i dont care what i have to do, the team will be great, and i wont have any stragglers bringing the whole group down. that just wont happen! And i know that i should be more understanding and be nicer, but im out of pationce. So if anyone else read this, i know i sound like a raving bitch, but it was more for me that is was for all you :) i just needed to get it all out

CREW IS ALL FUCKIN DRAMA!!! i hate it! the varsity boat is all messed up. our coach doesnt know what she is going to do, and its really stressfull! uhh i just vented to my mom, so i cant go through it again, i will type it all out later. but on a good note, my coach has noticed that we are all lagging, so we have tomorrow off. and the saturday me and a bunch of other people have the PSAT so we cant go to crew, so we have practice on Sunday. WE HAVE 2 DAYS OFF!! yay haha

well me and my mom got in a huge fight about nothing again. but that was last week and everything is fine now. She even went out with Bob tonight, and had dinner in the oven for me when i got home. She wasnt home, but i thought it was really nice. Well this is the first time i've been at my mom's house for 2 weeks for a long time. The only reason im here so long is cause my dad took the job in Colorado, and now im going to be spending alot more time with my mom :-\ i resently talked to Grace about our home situations and we have alot more in common than i though! Her and her mom dont get along well either, and like her sister is the same as mine. SO i like Grace alot more now. Today at crew we were supposed to go on the water, because we are not going to be able to keep up with anyone at the Head of the Charles if we dont get more water practice. But Christy keeps switching the line-ups up, and Charlotte's knee is hurt. Jacqueline said that she talked to Christy about Charlotte and Christy doesnt know if she is going to race. I dont think Charlotte is a good rower anyway, i think christy is just picking char. to be on the boat because she is 'nice'. To me and Jacqueline is seems like she thinks she is so much better than everyone else just because she goes to church and stuff.... I dont like the whole situation. we are not going to be ready for Boston unless we get more practice in with the actual boat. Christy needs to figure out what the hell we are doing and fucking do it. its getting really annoying!

k, so last night me, jasmine and laurisa went to fashion island for like the first time since last year together. ya it was good fun! well, we met up with riley, morgan, john, and this guy ryan who was really hot. well, everyone was smoking cigs, and some guys were stoned, and drunk. and riley pulled out these like huge bottles of alcohol and started drinking it, and me, jaz, and laur were all like, your stuid, you cant have that shit at fashion, they dont care at triangle.. but here no way ahah so, they were leaving and riley put on his backpack (all the booze were in there) and it clanked.. and the security guard stopped him, and all of his friends left him.. and the guard was all like, leme see your backpack! and he was like sure.. and the security guard grabed it, and riley just like sprinted away as fast as he could, we were walking to go get his friends so tell them that it was fucked that they left him, and he scared the shit out of us cause he ran right past us with the cop right behind him!!! we found out later that he followed them over to big newport, and the riley like punched him in the face, grabbed his backpack and ran.. but ryan didnt run cause hes not stupid, and we hung out with him all night untill we ran into erin harper (again hes SO HOT!!) and they were going over to big newport to go and jump jake guilbert, but he didnt end up being there.. so ya, that sucked.. but jasmine and laurisa spent the night at my house.. and it was fun.. not really we just went on the beach and talked about drugs and getting stoned and stuff.. weird. but still. thats all... sorry it was so long.. i have to pee.... friday night was super fun :)
